Verify current permission, university or board affiliation, sanctioned intake, course nomenclature and diploma status. Confirm access to functioning fixed and mobile X-ray, CR or DR, fluoroscopy and C-arm services with adequate supervised case volume.
Review radiation licences and safety systems, qualified supervisors, student-to-equipment ratios, logbooks, internship sites and equipment downtime. Avoid programmes offering mainly observation, unsupported CT or MRI practice, or no evidence of personal monitoring.
