MBBS ranks — MCC Round 3, 2026
The table below uses only explicit AIIMS Raipur destination cells in the MCC Round 3 allotment list generated on 30 September and published on 1 October 2026. It includes printed retained, upgraded and freshly allotted destinations. Earlier-round retained students without an explicit Round 3 destination are outside this extract.
All figures are NEET All India Rank (AIR). Best and last observed AIR are the smallest and largest values within the reviewed quota/category group. They are not certified final joined-seat or all-round closing ranks and do not guarantee future admission.
Explicit Round 3 destination observations
| Quota | Allotted category | Best AIR | Last observed AIR | Records |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Open Seat Quota | Open | 730 | 1,005 | 18 |
| Open Seat Quota | OBC | 1,432 | 1,837 | 8 |
| Open Seat Quota | EWS | 2,448 | 2,448 | 1 |
| Open Seat Quota | SC | 9,463 | 13,075 | 2 |
| Open Seat Quota | ST | 13,899 | 16,494 | 4 |
| Open Seat Quota | SC PwD | 488,861 | 488,861 | 1 |
Open Seat Quota is retained as the MCC source label. Open, OBC, EWS, SC, ST and SC PwD remain separate. The candidate’s personal category is not substituted for the allotted-seat category. A group with one record is a single observation, not a reliable prediction interval.
MBBS seat allocation context
The MCC Round 1 MBBS matrix published on 7 August 2026 lists 125 AIIMS Raipur places under institution identifier 200506 and Open Seat Quota. This is the dated counselling seat reference, not a live vacancy count. The institution’s academic table also lists 125 annual MBBS places, but the round matrix controls the seats offered in that process.
MCC’s AIIMS Open Seat Quota is not an ordinary 15% government-college AIQ subset or a Chhattisgarh state quota. The Round 1 seat matrix and the Round 3 rank extract are different datasets. Annual capacity, seats offered, observed allocations, retained seats and eventual joining should not be treated as the same measure.
INI-CET and other admission ranks
MD/MS/MDS and the six-year MCh entry require their own INI-CET session, specialty, category and round evidence. This MBBS table does not supply postgraduate cutoff numbers. INI-SS, nursing and institute-specific entrance ranks are different again. No number from a different examination or institution is repurposed to fill an empty postgraduate row.
- Match the exact course, examination, quota, category and round.
- Compare AIR with AIR, not with an examination score or a state merit serial.
- Read the record count and the subset description together.
- Use a preference list across several eligible colleges rather than assume the last observed rank will repeat.
- Check current vacancies and eligibility independently of historical observations.
No year-on-year cutoff trend is drawn from one Round 3 extract. Comparable years, categories and round definitions would be needed for that chart.
