Frequently asked questions
How is MBBS admission conducted?
Through NEET-UG and MCC AIIMS allocation. The MCC Round 1 matrix published on 7 August 2026 lists 125 Open Seat Quota places for AIIMS Raipur; this is not a live vacancy count.
What is the MBBS admission payment?
For Indian nationals, the AIIMS Raipur MBBS 2026 Round 3/online stray reporting instruction lists ₹5,856 payable once at admission. It combines ₹1,628 in academic/other heads with ₹4,228 in hostel/other heads. The notice describes these charges for the 4½-year academic course period. It is not an annual tuition figure and does not include all food, travel or personal expenses.
Is food included in ₹5,856?
The ₹5,856 MBBS payment includes the published hostel/other fee heads, including refundable mess and hostel security. The reporting instruction makes hostel allotment conditional on confirmed joining, document verification, medical fitness and payment. Mess charges remain separate: the notice gives around ₹4,000 per month, subject to actual charges and revision. This is an approximate food-cost reference, not a fixed all-inclusive course budget.
Do AIIMS Raipur MD/MS courses use NEET-PG?
MD/MS/MDS and the listed six-year MCh entry use INI-CET. Three-year DM/MCh programmes have the relevant INI-SS process; nursing and other programmes have separate routes.
Are every course card’s seats current vacancies?
No. Most specialty references come from an undated institutional academic table, with regular and sponsored places retained. Current session matrices control available places.
What does the MPH 2026 notice state?
A two-year course with six non-sponsored advertised places, institute written entrance/counselling, ₹5,856 course fee and a stated ₹25,000 monthly programme stipend. This is not the fee/stipend for all programmes.
Are the cutoff numbers final closing ranks?
No. They are extrema among explicit MCC Round 3 destination observations in the reviewed list, including retained/upgraded/fresh records. They are not certified final joined or all-round closing ranks.
Does the NIRF salary table guarantee a job?
No. It reports historical institution-submitted outcomes and median salaries among placed graduates in specific cohorts. It does not guarantee an incoming student an appointment or salary.
