Academic and hospital setting
AIIMS Raipur is the central-government medical institute at Tatibandh, G.E. Road, Raipur. Developed under PMSSY, it combines medical education, patient care and research. It is distinct from the private RIMS college and Pt. J.N.M. Medical College in the same city. Accommodation and food planning
The ₹5,856 MBBS payment includes the published hostel/other fee heads, including refundable mess and hostel security. The reporting instruction makes hostel allotment conditional on confirmed joining, document verification, medical fitness and payment. Mess charges remain separate: the notice gives around ₹4,000 per month, subject to actual charges and revision. This is an approximate food-cost reference, not a fixed all-inclusive course budget.
Review the room offered to the current batch, wardens, mess rules, accessibility and travel between academic and clinical spaces. An admission confirmation does not dispense with medical fitness and room-allocation formalities. The one-time hostel heads and monthly food spending should be kept in separate budget columns.
