AIIMS Raipur snapshot
AIIMS Raipur is the central-government medical institute at Tatibandh, G.E. Road, Raipur. Developed under PMSSY, it combines medical education, patient care and research. It is distinct from the private RIMS college and Pt. J.N.M. Medical College in the same city. Medical, dental, nursing, public-health and specialist research programmes have different admission routes and should be compared separately.
The MCC Round 1 MBBS matrix published on 7 August 2026 lists 125 AIIMS Raipur places under institution identifier 200506 and Open Seat Quota. This is the dated counselling seat reference, not a live vacancy count. The institution’s academic table also lists 125 annual MBBS places, but the round matrix controls the seats offered in that process. MBBS uses MCC allocation; MD/MS/MDS use INI-CET. Other programmes have separate admission routes.
