Historical graduate outcomes

AIIMS Raipur’s submitted NIRF 2026 medical dataset reports graduation, placement and higher-study observations for earlier cohorts. The table below is for the UG five-year programme reporting group; it is not a placement guarantee, a current job advertisement or an independently audited salary survey.

Graduation yearGraduated in minimum timeReported placedSelected for higher studiesMedian salary of placed graduates
2021–22944531₹1,400,000
2022–23976235₹1,500,000
2023–24992937₹1,500,000

The median refers to the graduates reported placed in that cohort, not every graduate, every doctor or an internship stipend. Placement and higher-study columns should not be combined into a promised employment percentage. The reported cohort sizes differ, so the raw counts are not themselves a rate comparison.

Training, registration and postgraduate choices

MBBS study and rotating internship establish different parts of medical training. Eligibility for registration, postgraduate selection and appointment to a medical post have separate requirements. An institution’s published historical salary does not remove the need to meet an employer’s recruitment conditions.

MD/MS/MDS and the six-year MCh entry use INI-CET; three-year DM/MCh pathways use the relevant INI-SS process. Nursing and public-health careers have their own professional and recruitment pathways. A graduate who stays for further training should not automatically be labelled as placed through campus recruitment.

A programme-specific stipend example

The MPH admission notice dated 11 May 2026 states ₹25,000 per month as the programme stipend. This is a dated MPH training-payment reference, not an MBBS internship stipend, a salary for all students or a guaranteed medical officer package. No unverified universal stipend is assigned to every course.

Applicants should read the scheme, attendance, eligibility and programme conditions alongside any stipend statement. Other programmes may have different terms and cannot inherit the MPH figure merely because they are offered by AIIMS Raipur.

Use outcomes alongside the learning environment

  • Compare the same programme and graduation period.
  • Separate training payments, employment salaries and postgraduate enrolment.
  • Ask about internship rotations, supervision and completion documentation.
  • Read job duties, contract terms and selection rules before treating an opportunity as an appointment.
  • Use the historical table as context alongside costs, academic support and course suitability.
