GNM fees vary between government, aided and private nursing schools and across states. Compare the full annual cost, including tuition, admission charges, nursing-board examinations, uniforms, shoes, instruments, books, health checks, vaccinations, clinical travel, hostel and mess expenses.

Obtain the approved fee schedule and refund policy in writing before admission. Ask whether clinical transport, accommodation, insurance and repeat-examination charges are included. Stipends or allowances are not universal and should be confirmed directly with the institution.

Students should be cautious about compulsory service bonds, penalties or document-retention practices. Read every undertaking before signing and keep copies of receipts and agreements.
