The AIIMS teaching page, updated in May 2023, describes the Indian-national category distribution above and a 5% horizontal provision for persons with disabilities. Horizontal reservation is not added again to the total. These figures are retained as a dated reference; the current authorised seat matrix controls actual choices.
The NIRF 2026 medical submission separately reports sanctioned UG intake of 132 for academic years 2020–21 through 2024–25. This supports the historical combined total, but it is not a 2026 counselling seat matrix.
