Fees & budget

Amounts below are in Indian rupees and come from the 2026–27 prospectus. They are estimates subject to revision. Keep the admission invoice and refund terms for your own category and batch; this page is a planning reference.

Hostel deposit and monthly bills are additional. This is a prospectus estimate, not a personalised invoice.

There is an ambiguity inside the prospectus: page 20 describes ₹84,330 as an annual MBBS fee, while the itemised table on page 177 includes two one-time amounts. We retain the itemised interpretation for budgeting and do not multiply ₹84,330 by the course length. Ask the Registrar to confirm subsequent-year invoices.

The final two rows are MedCollege calculations, not official quotations. Assumes 12 billed months at the published approximate rate; excludes travel, personal purchases and revisions. Deposit refund terms require confirmation.

Page 177 calls these initial payments. They are not labelled annual tuition or certified whole-course totals. Do not apply them to DNB/DrNB without an applicable fee notice.

Do not choose the tax/affiliation column by course title alone. Ask CMC which row applies to the exact award.

Nursing fees by year

The following component tables avoid merging tuition with hostel bills. They also keep the Vellore and Chittoor campuses separate.

All values are INR. Page 180 uses grouped fees; confirm the exact course mapping. Hostel: ₹8,000 one-time deposit, ₹25,920 yearly payment and approximately ₹8,000 monthly bill. These are three separate lines, not alternatives.

Page 182 separates annual and one-time components for most of these programmes. Hostel is extra; accommodation for masters and PG diploma students is subject to availability. Do not treat the first listed total as a recurring annual fee.

INR; page 179. Confirm which recognition and residency route applies before selecting a row. An unlisted examination component is not assumed to be zero.

Page 182. Confirm the invoice for the exact programme. Do not interpret an incomplete component row as proof that every other charge is zero.

• Ask for the category-specific invoice and last date for payment.
• Confirm refundable deposits, deductions, refund procedure and the authority that receives each payment.
• Keep application, counselling, college, university and hostel receipts separately.
• Budget without assuming that a scholarship or stipend has already been approved.
• For programmes not tabulated here, consult pages 177–182 and request a written course-specific quotation.

Build a cost sheet that matches your programme

Use separate lines for tuition, university or registration charges, one-time deposits, examination payments, accommodation, mess and personal expenses. An amount collected at joining is not automatically an annual tuition fee, and an annual fee is not the price of the whole course. Category concessions apply only when their conditions and documents are accepted. Keep any payment already made through counselling in the reconciliation so that the same head is not counted twice. A hostel deposit may be refundable under its own conditions; mess consumption and personal expenses should not be presented as fixed academic charges.

Initial MBBS college payment · 2026–27

Annual heads combine ₹3,000 tuition and ₹54,095 other college charges. One-time heads combine ₹12,260 admission and ₹14,975 university payment. The initial college total is ₹84,330; hostel deposit and monthly bills are additional. These are prospectus components, not a personalised invoice or a whole-course price.
