CMC states that financial assistance is available for economically disadvantaged students and can support educational and living costs. This is a route to ask about, not an automatic entitlement or a promise that every applicant will receive a full scholarship.

Discuss need with the appropriate college office after checking the admission instructions. Explain your household’s available resources, the amount needed at joining and the recurring gap. A specific cash-flow problem is easier to assess than a general request for a discount.

• Income documents accepted by the institution and an explanation of any recent income change.
• The admission offer and the itemised college and hostel charges.
• A realistic list of other education support, savings or loans already available.
• A question about whether assistance is paid to the institution, reimbursed later or adjusted against bills.
• Renewal requirements, deadlines and the circumstances in which an award may change.

Keep confirmed aid separate from aid you have applied for. If payment is due before a decision, ask the institution how to proceed. Do not assume an application acknowledgement allows late payment or reporting.
