Hostel & living costs
CMC’s campus information describes MBBS and BSc Nursing as residential programmes. Hostel allocation and rules should therefore be part of your decision before admission, not an afterthought. Other courses can have different accommodation arrangements.
| Charge | Men | Women |
|---|---|---|
| Deposit/advance | ₹10,000 | ₹10,000 |
| Approximate monthly bill | ₹8,000 | ₹9,500 |
College charges are separate. The monthly amounts are estimates; ask what the actual bill covers and when it is due.
The hostel annexure describes student governing bodies and wardens, basic room furniture and mess arrangements. Specific visitor, attendance and leave rules also apply. Read the rules for the allocated hostel rather than assuming every hostel works alike.
- Room-sharing arrangement and the date from which accommodation is available.
- Items supplied in the room and items you must bring.
- Mess arrangements, dietary needs, billing and holiday rules.
- Deposit refund conditions and any additional joining payments.
- Travel between hostel and clinical campus, including early and late schedules.
- How to reach a warden or student-health service in an emergency.
For allied-health degrees the fee annexure separately lists a deposit, yearly hostel payment and monthly bill. Masters and PG diploma accommodation is subject to availability. Do not apply the MBBS monthly estimate to a nursing hostel or assume an admission offer includes a guaranteed room.
Use actual expected months of residence in your budget. A twelve-month calculation is a planning scenario, not proof that every student will receive twelve identical bills.
