KGMU Lucknow
How to read a KGMU cut-off
A NEET qualifying threshold and a college closing rank answer different questions. One concerns eligibility for counselling; the other describes the last relevant allotment in a defined group.
| Record this field | Why it matters |
|---|---|
| Admission year | Examination and applicant pools change |
| Course | MBBS and each postgraduate speciality differ |
| Quota and category | Eligibility and competition apply to the specified group |
| Round | Opening, later and stray rounds have different vacancies |
| Rank type | All-India rank must not be confused with category or state rank |
This update does not publish an unverified closing-rank table or predict a guaranteed seat from marks. Use official allotment results to establish a historical reference. A score-to-rank relationship from another year is not a reliable substitute.
A practical shortlist includes aspirational, realistic and fallback choices that you would actually accept. Arrange them in your genuine order of preference after checking cost, eligibility, location and reporting conditions. Do not put an unwanted college higher solely because a historic closing rank looked attractive.
