KGMU Lucknow
Graduate outcomes and medical careers
KGMU publishes outcome figures in its institutional NIRF submission. These describe specified graduating cohorts, not a promise to an incoming student.
| Programme group / graduating year | Graduated | Reported placed | Higher studies | Median of placed graduates |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| UG five-year group, 2021–22 | 247 | 214 | 33 | ₹12 lakh |
| UG five-year group, 2022–23 | 250 | 184 | 66 | ₹12 lakh |
| UG five-year group, 2023–24 | 250 | 191 | 59 | ₹12 lakh |
| PG three-year group, 2024–25 | 274 | 229 | 45 | ₹16 lakh |
The source groups programmes using its reporting categories. A median is the middle reported salary among placed graduates in that group; it is not an internship stipend, a highest package, or a salary available to every MBBS graduate.
Medical careers can include registration, residency, further training, public service, research and clinical practice. When evaluating an offer, look at the work and training required to reach the next stage. Compare graduation, higher-study progression and employment evidence for the same year and programme group.
