Review outpatient and inpatient activity, major departments, clinical supervision, case discussions and the progression from observation to supervised responsibility. A building or bed-count claim alone does not establish strong teaching. Patient mix, department activity, diagnostics, records, feedback and referral systems matter.

Ask how often students attend clinics, what they are permitted to do at each stage and how clinical competencies are assessed. Review emergency and referral arrangements as well as Ayurvedic clinical exposure.

Look for stable qualified faculty across the major subjects, functional practical laboratories, medicinal-plant learning and an appropriate teaching pharmacy. Confirm internship rotations, external placements, supervision, case logs, attendance and the current stipend policy.

Finally compare the full five-and-a-half-year cost, hostel, safety, transport, language environment, library, anti-ragging and grievance systems. Recent student feedback can add context, but important claims still require official verification.
