AIIMS Bhubaneswar Admissions
MBBS: NEET-UG and MCC counselling · MD/MS/MDS and six-year routes: INI-CET · Three-year DM/M.Ch.: INI-SS · Other programmes: programme-specific selection
Reporting: keep the programme instructions separate
| Programme | Evidence from the 2026 joining instructions |
|---|---|
| MBBS | MCC allotment and NEET documents; Academic Section reporting |
| M.Sc Nursing | AIIMS online seat allocation; nursing degree and RN/RM registration |
| Allied Health / Paramedical | AIIMS Delhi rank and provisional allotment letters |
M.Sc Nursing instructions specify 60% in the qualifying nursing degree for General/OBC/EWS and 55% for SC/ST, together with relevant registration and recognition documents. The MBBS Round 3 reporting window was 1–9 October 2026; it has passed. These dates must not be presented as an ongoing application opportunity.
For a later session, check the applicable prospectus and allotment instructions before arranging travel or payment. Document verification and joining follow allocation; a guidance request on MedCollege is not an admission application or a seat guarantee.
AIIMS Bhubaneswar admissions
Choose the admission route by qualification. MBBS uses NEET-UG and MCC counselling; the reviewed AIIMS postgraduate prospectuses use INI-CET for MD/MS/MDS and six-year routes, and INI-SS for three-year DM/M.Ch.
From selection to joining
An entrance result is one part of admission. Registration, eligibility scrutiny, preference submission, allotment, acceptance and institutional reporting can each have separate instructions. Read the sequence applicable to your programme before committing to travel or a payment. A guidance enquiry does not register you for an examination or counselling round.
The September 2026 MBBS reporting document identifies the Academic Section in the Administrative Building as the reporting venue and lists examination/allotment records, school certificates and applicable category documents. It is a dated reporting example, not a newly announced deadline for every applicant.
Create a document index before reporting. Record the name on each certificate, the issuing authority and whether an original or copy is required. If a name or date differs across documents, seek the applicable clarification before the reporting deadline rather than assuming a handwritten explanation will be sufficient.
Nursing, allied-health, fellowship and doctoral entries should be checked independently. A common institution name does not create a common entrance route or application timetable. Read the exact award and entry level; a six-year direct-entry route is different from a three-year programme that requires a postgraduate feeder qualification.
After allotment, keep the acceptance record, reporting acknowledgement and any payment receipt in a secure folder. For any change of seat, withdrawal or upgrade, establish the applicable release process and deadlines before acting. Do not treat a previous year’s reporting instructions as a guarantee of the next session’s arrangements.
