AIIMS Bhubaneswar student experience guide
Use this page as an editorial checklist for evaluating student experience. The questions below are not presented as testimonials, ratings or endorsements by enrolled students.
Ask specific, balanced questions
A useful conversation about college life identifies the programme and year of study. A postgraduate resident’s schedule, a nursing student’s placement and an undergraduate’s first term are different experiences. Ask respondents to describe their own context before comparing their observations.
Look for examples rather than broad adjectives. Ask how they organise study, how they access resources, how travel and accommodation fit their timetable and which support channel they use for an academic difficulty. A detailed account is easier to evaluate than a star rating without explanation.
Keep opinion and fact separate. A student can describe how a room felt to them, but a fee or residence rule should be checked against the applicable document. One account cannot establish the experience of every student, and a promotional quote should not be treated as a representative survey.
When preparing your own review, be honest, respectful and specific. Avoid disclosing classmates’ personal information, patient details or unverified accusations. Mention the time period and programme so that a later reader can understand the relevance of your experience.
