Campus imagery should identify the institution, location and context accurately. This page does not substitute stock photographs or another AIIMS campus for Bhubaneswar.
Read an image as evidence, not a promise
A useful campus photograph identifies what is shown: a teaching area, library, residence or another publicly accessible space. An attractive building image does not establish a particular room allocation, programme facility or current access arrangement. Keep the subject and date with an image whenever available.
For a visit, make a short observation list: routes between relevant areas, study space, accommodation arrangements and practical accessibility needs. Ask permission before taking photographs. Avoid patient-care areas, identity documents and identifiable people unless an appropriate permission and purpose are established.
When comparing photographs, use the same questions for each college. A wide exterior shot and a close-up of one room answer different questions. Do not infer a complete campus inventory or the experience of every student from a small selection of images.
If you share your own authorised campus photograph with an education platform, describe its subject truthfully and do not imply that it is an official institutional publication. Image ownership and permission to publish should remain separate from a student’s permission to visit the campus.
